IEEE R8 YP committee member
Skander Mansouri is a software engineering student in the National Institute of Applied Science and technology. He's part of the world's largest professional organization for the advancement of technology IEEE, In fact, he was the former chair of the largest student branch in the region 8 with 250+ members: the IEEE INSAT Student branch and currently the head of the organizing committee of the Middle East Student & Young Professional CongressTunisia 2017 and also part of the region 8 Young Professional Committee team. Skander didn't stop there with IEEE, he has been working also with the IEEE SIGHT Tunisian chapter. He's its vice-chair and the co-founder of the project TAWASOL aiming to connect all primary schools with internet connectivity while providing the right tools for better understanding of internet usage. Besides his volunteering work, Skander is into the entrepreneurial world since he is working as a business developer at Vynd, a local startup aiming to contribute in the improvement of services provided by companies and local businesses while highlighting the voice of the customer. Skander's passion is education so he's been involved as a co-director of Young Tunisian Coders Academy an NGO that aims to raise generations who will lead the technological revolution in the world.
